Sunday Lunch

The perfect end to a weekend...

The Lion has become famous for their Sunday Lunches. Served every week from 12pm to 3pm. The Lion serves only the freshest vegetables and the best meats that Wales has to offer.

"Visited last minute today with my mother and my sister and the food was lovely. I had the vegetarian Sunday lunch and it was so nice with potatoes, roasties, and carrot and swede mash! Our Sunday Lunch starts at £10.95 for 1 course, £13.95 for 2 courses and £15.95 for 3 courses. We offer a choice of Usk Valley Beef, Welsh Lamb, Pork Shoulder, Turkey, Salmon and also a vegetarian option.

 

Children's menu is priced at £7.50 for one course.

All served with garlic and rosemary roast potatoes, buttered new potatoes, caramelised parsnips, silky swede and carrot mash, cauliflower cheese and a panache of seasonal vegetables. All brought together with The Lion signature meat juice gravy.
